January 2010

 After much deliberation and with great sadness, sensei Charles Gidley and sensei George Carruthers resign from the Japan Shotokan Karate Association and its Shihankai, this was followed immediately by the JSKA(GB) students and instructors.

 The JSKA(GB), having broken all links with the JSKA and Keigo Abe sensei, form Japan Shotokan Karate International (JSKI) with the support of other senior instructors in the both the UK and abroad

JSKI joins the World JKA Alliance (WJKA) with sensei’s Jan Knobel 8th Dan and Yokota 8th Dan
